“Vintage” jewelry can be “antique” and “estate” jewelry can be, and often is, “vintage” and/or “antique.”

What is Estate Jewelry?

Estate jewelry is simply jewelry previously owned by someone – part of their “estate.” It can be “vintage” or “antique” or never used.

Vintage jewelry typically refers to jewelry that is some number of years old, typically 20 or so, but the definition is inconsistent.

Antique jewelry is at least 75-100 years old.
